Earlier this year our team delivered a major wetland construction project on behalf of Melton City Council in the Weir View neighbourhood. Melton is a growing suburb on Melbourne’s western fringe and the development of constructed wetlands in this area aims to improve water quality and reduce the impacts of development on local waterways. Working over a period of three months our team trimmed and reshaped existing bulk earthworks, rectified a sediment detention pond and completed rock work and lining of the wetlands. New drainage pipes were laid to manage water level and flows and a maintenance track was constructed to provide access.

Recycling operations – our own war on waste
EcoProjects can turn your waste into new materials, providing an alternative stream for disposal of waste construction and demolition materials. We offer both demolition and recovery services. Our recycling facility can process concrete, brick, asphalt and excavation rock into high quality quarry substitute materials suitable for roadbases and aggregates. Recycled materials now commonly supplement traditional materials from quarries. Our materials offer a cost effective alternative for clients. We accept concrete, bricks, soil, and steel. Surf Coast Walk Realignment
Client: Great Ocean Road Coast Committee Type: Public Infrastructure Timing: March 2018 EcoProjects were engaged by the Great Ocean Road Coast Committee to upgrade a section of the world class Surf Coast Walk at Demons Bluff in Anglesea. We constructed a multi-use boardwalk using a fibre-reinforced-plastic product and minimal impact methods. The works included measures to protect coastal vegetation and cultural values as well as maintaining access for walkers. By using a specialised lifting rig and trolley we were able to efficiently construct the boardwalk and prevent injuries to our staff.
