Client: Helmast Park Equestrian Centre Type: Waterway Management Timing: October 2017 Project: Anderson Creek Waterway Improvement Project Client: Helmast Park Equestrian Centre Type: Waterway Management Timing: October 2017 EcoProjects were engaged by Helmast Park Equestrian Centre to undertake landscaping and waterway improvement works along Anderson Creek in Park Orchards. The works involved controlling invasive plant species, revegetation and associated erosion protection works. By working with EnviroGain our team were able to deliver a complete package of works that will improve the amenity and health of Anderson creek.
Client: Yarra Valley Water Type: Public Infrastructure Timing: August 2017 EcoProjects were engaged by Yarra Valley Water to upgrade access and associated drainage for the Beveridge pressure reducing station. The project involved the excavation of the existing material, construction of a base, followed by placement of ballast and toppings. Once earthworks were completed table drains were constructed to manage runoff and a culvert was installed to provide all weather accessibility to the site.
Client: Maroondah City Council Type: Stormwater Detention Basin Timing: November 2016 – March 2017 EcoProjects were engaged by Maroondah City Council to construct a retarding basin and undertake drainage works at Brentwood Park Reserve. (For an in-depth look at the work check out our video here) The project involved the removal of over 22,000 m3 in order to create the detention basin which will temporarily store stormwater in high rainfall events. Once earthworks were completed grass was re-established through hydro-seeding ensuring the basin can continue to be used for recreation.
