Client: Port Stephens Council Type: Coastal Management Timing: August 2016 – September 2016 EcoProjects were engaged by Port Stephens Council to undertake foreshore erosion protection in a sensitive environment to protect adjacent residential properties. The project required careful planning to minimise on-site environmental impacts and manage for acid sulphate soils. The works included, demolition and disposal of existing rock and concrete rock access ramps followed by construction of a new rock revetment with primary and secondary rock armouring.

Waterfall Creek Bioretention Systems
Client: City of Marion Type: Lump sum, construct only Timing: Timing: June – July 2014 To address the impact of poor water quality and sediment transport to the receiving waters of Waterfall Creek a detailed Waterway Management plan has been developed. EcoProjects were engaged to construction 3 bioretention structures within the waterway which included importation of large quantities of clay fill to construct earthen walls, placement of rock armouring, construction of overflow pits and pipes, installation of bio filter sand and site revegetation.
Thrushgrove Creek Erosion Control
Client: City of Onkaparinga Type: Waterway management Timing: March – May 2014 Thrushgrove Creek is a high value waterway that flows through suburban Adelaide. In recent years it has been heavily impacted by floods resulting in severe bed and bank erosion. EcoProjects were engage to address bed and bank instabilities which included construction of 3 large grade control structures, extensive bank armouring and construction of a mass gravity gabion wall.
